The draft slot, the cap line, the rookie scale, the guarantee date, the clearance a player needs before a club abroad can register her. The rules that decide a basketball career usually live inside front offices, league offices and agencies. Players and families meet them for the first time across the table, when the clock is already running.
MM3 Sports puts those rules on the page. The library answers one question at a time, in plain words, with the rule, the number and the source. It is written for players, parents, coaches and anyone who wants to read the business of the game for themselves.
This site informs. It does not recruit. You will not find client lists, roster pages or private business here, and you never will.

I read a collective bargaining agreement the way a lawyer reads a statute: from the text up, clause by clause, before anyone's summary of it. A J.D. from the University of San Francisco School of Law trained that habit. More than 12 years in human resources, building pay structures, reading employment contracts and negotiating offers, taught me how compensation is actually built, what gets guaranteed, what gets deferred, and where the leverage sits.
Basketball contracts are compensation packages with a public scoreboard. The same questions decide them: what is fixed, what is conditional, when it vests, and what the next deal looks like before this one is half done.
